Denver is the place to be, all right. As soon as Clint gets into town, he plays poker, drinks beer, and shoots a man in self-defense. The same man who rode in on the stage with him that very morning. Name of Arlo Gentry, who Clint later learns stole a lot of cash from Wells Fargo—cash that ended up in the pocket of a federal marshal.
Now the Gunsmith’s in a tangle of crooked lawmen and stolen loot, when all he really wants is to wallow with the willowy Jeanette Colvin. But can a man truly have love without war?
The Gunsmith thinks not.
